My private studio is located in North Boulder near Broadway and Lee Hill Drive. Please note that my studio is not wheelchair accessible, unfortunately.
What is your studio like?
It is a top priority to me that my studio is a sanctuary for everyone that steps foot in the door. It is important to me that my studio has a clean, bright, and welcoming vibe. I love having a lot of plants and funky, psychedelic decor throughout.

Appointments are available on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays. Timing can be somewhat flexible between 10-8p on those days.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash is preferred for the service and gratuity, but I also accept payment via Venmo. I accept deposits through Venmo.
What is your cancellation and lateness policy?
I understand that plans can change. I request at least 48 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. If you are more than 30 minutes late to your scheduled appointment, your deposit will be forfeited and you will need to book a new appointment with me and pay a new deposit. Please note, I only allow clients to reschedule late appointments on a case-by-case basis.
Is your studio sustainable/eco-friendly?
I try my best to be as sustainably conscious and eco-friendly with the products I use as well as my practices.

Of course! The inks and other products I use are vegan and cruelty-free.
HAND-POKE
What is the cost for a hand-poke tattoo?
I charge $125/hour, but some flash pieces may have a set price. Custom tattoo design (only) prices will vary.

I require a $50 non-refundable deposit that will be taken off of the total cost of your appointment. If your appointment needs to be rescheduled, your deposit can be applied to a future appointment if proper notice is given.
How do I book a hand-poke tattoo appointment with you?
My books are open unless I mention otherwise on my social accounts. Please email me at ink@cosmica-studio.com. Ensure that you include a detailed message of the design you are requesting or reference which flash design you would like.
Do you offer flash tattoos?
I periodically release flash designs on my instagram that are available for tattooing. None of the designs are repeatable, but I will happily alter a design for you if the one you would like is taken.
Do you offer custom designs?
I offer custom tattoo designs where we will work together one-on-one to create the perfect design just for you. I also offer custom tattoo designs as an option for you to have another artist do that may be more suitable for machine work.
What is hand-poke tattooing?
Hand-poke tattooing, also known as stick-and-poke tattooing, is a traditional method of tattooing where ink is applied under the skin using a needle without the use of an electric machine. It's a manual process that involves poking the skin with ink-dipped needles to create a design.
Does hand-poke tattooing hurt more than machine tattooing?
Most clients report that hand-poke tattooing is less painful than machine tattooing. The sensation is often described as less intense, though pain tolerance varies from person to person.
How long does it take?
The time varies depending on the design's complexity and size. Small tattoos might take an hour, while larger, more detailed work can take several hours or multiple sessions. A typical appointment is around 3 hours.
How do I prepare for my appointment?
It's important to be well-rested, hydrated, and to have eaten a good meal beforehand. Avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medications for 24 hours prior to your appointment. Wear comfortable, breathable clothing that provides easy access to the area being tattooed.
What is the after care for a hand-poke tattoo?
Aftercare is crucial for a good healing process. Keep the tattoo clean and dry, avoid swimming and prolonged sun exposure, and apply a recommended healing ointment as directed. Do not pick or scratch the tattooed area.
Do you offer touch-ups?
I offer complimentary touch-ups once or twice, depending on the design and the area it is tattooed.

Here is a general idea of the healing process of microblading:

(Expect, sometimes, drastic changes and coloration over the healing process.)
Day 1: Yay! Loving my new brows!
Day 2-5: Hmm... now they are a little too thick & dark.
Day 5-10: They’re starting to flake & peel.
Day 10-15: Where did they go? (slight fading)
Day 15-30: There they are.. just a little patchy. (pigment re-settles & re-darkens)
Touch up: Yay! My brows are perfect!
